| Obituary | Feb 22, 2011 | OBITUARY: PORTSMOUTH - Bernadine Speight Swindell, 75, of the 4700 block of Viola Terrace, passed away Sunday, Feb. 20, 2011. She is survived by her children, Tia Stout and husband William, Victoria Kelley and husband David and Robert E. Swindell; five grandchildren, Robert, Joshua, Alaina, Elizabeth and Samuel; and a host of other friends and extended family. A funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 23, in Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel, by the Rev. Tom Potter. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association , Greater Richmond Chapter, 4600 Cox Road, Suite 130, Glen Allen, VA 23060.
