ObituaryAug 6, 2012  OBITUARY: EAST FAIRFIELD - Gary F. Garrow, age 51, passed away peacefully at his home on Saturday, Aug. 4, 2012 with his family at his side following a short battle with cancer.

He was born Nov. 13, 1960, in St. Albans, the son of the late Fred and Marion (Morris) Garrow.

Gary was a lifetime mechanic who could fix anything and for the past six years he worked at Stones Shell in East Fairfield. He loved mud bogging and truck & tractor pulls.

He is survived by his daughter, Betsey Garrow of East Fairfield; three step daughters Jessica and her husband, Damian Boomhower, Melissa and her husband, Peter Parrotte, and Vicky and her husband, Mike Irish; his grandson, Brandon; a brother, Larry Garrow and his wife, Kathy; two sisters Mary Lou and her husband, Jack Baker, and Connie and her husband, Dan Rogers; many nieces, nephews, co-workers and great friends. Besides his parents, Gary was predeceased by his older brother, William.

Visiting hours will be held at the Spears Funeral Home, 96 Dickinson Ave., Enosburg Falls on Tuesday, August 7, 2012 from 4 to 7 p.m. with a memorial service starting at 7 p.m. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
